If you are interested in taking one of the following classes, please follow the instructions for the class below.  You will be added to the class in pending status until payment is received.

Knitting Basics $55
Description:  This class is designed for the beginning knitter.  It will cover popular methods for 6 basic techniques (cast on, bind off, knit, purl, increase, and decrease).  It is a 3 part class so you will have plenty of time to practice!  Each student will receive yarn, needles, a pattern, and other instruction materials.  During class the student will make the headband and flower embellishment. 
This class is being offered in a variety of ways this quarter.

Cannery Dying $50
Description:  Did you know you can dye multiple scarves at once in a pot with a Mason Jar?  Awesome, I know!  And not just solid colors, but multicolored and sophisticated silk or velvet scarves.  Yes, you can dye more than one color in one dye pot at the same time?  Join us in dyeing a silk and velvet scarf in two colors as your classmate dyes another at the same time in the same large pot.  An adventure into the world of dyeing, this class is a basic introduction to the color changing process.  We will discuss several different dye techniques & mordants.  This is a hands on class.  We will dye using three different methods, including cannery dyeing.  Dyes, mordants, and items to dye are included in the registration fee.

Made To Order Summer Top $20
Description:  This class is designed for the intermediate knitter. Students can choose from several basic summer top patterns provided or they can choose their own.  In the class we will discuss yarn & needle choices, gauge, and pattern adjustments.  Students will select their pattern and yarn, and make a gauge sample before starting their work.  We will also take measurements and make pattern adjustments as necessary.  Students will get 10% off any yarn and supplies they purchase at Fleeces To Pieces for the summer top.  Registration does NOT include yarn & supplies cost.  (2 sessions)

Rigid Heddle (Beginner) $65
Description:  Have you always wanted to try your hand at weaving, but had no idea where to start?  Here is the place.  We will go over a rigid heddle loom, naming the parts and pieces including weaving terminology.  You will learn the easy, quick warping using a peg, and then weave.  Basic weave on the rigid heddle is plain weave, but it will not look "plain" when you are done.  Much can be done with color, texture and how you put them together.  Come join the fun!  Everything needed for this class is provided.  If you own a rigid heddle loom, please bring it to class.

Beginning Crochet $35
Description:  This class is designed for the beginning crocheter.  It will cover several common crochet stitches.  It is a 2 part class, so you will have plenty of time to practice!  Each Student will receive yarn, a crochet hook, a pattern, and instruction materials.  During the first class the students will make the square washcloth and during the second class they will make the round washcloth.  The pattern also includes a facial scrubber. (2 sessions)
